I am from the US.  I was born in Washington State.

I didn’t grow up here.  I grew up in Germany and France.

My mother was French.

I went to American schools.

I am from Guatemala City. I have been here for 12 months. I graduated from high school.

Shukri 

I am from Somalia. I have been here for 9 months. I like English. 

Svetlana

I am from Russia. I have been in Seattle for 2 months.  I learned English from shows, movies, serials. I love Seattle.  It is so green and beautifu.

Edwin

I am from Honduras.  I have been in Seattle for 2 years. I like everything about Seattle.

Shaheen

I am from Pakistan.  I have been here for 20 months.  I speak Urdu but I like to practice speaking English.

Shabana

I am from Pakistan. I have been here for 10 months.  I am a little sad because my husband is going back to Pakistan.
